Not All Women Go to Space. Some Quietly Create It.

Recently, headlines lit up with awe and applause for a group of women who went on a space flight — hailed as trailblazers breaking the glass ceiling, as icons of progress for women everywhere. And in one way or another, they are. They earned their spot on that flight, and they have every right to enjoy their moment: the blown-out hair, the custom-made outfits, the adventure.

Let me be clear — I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having access to fame, power, or wealth in order to be on that spaceship called the first all women crew in history. These women earned it. They deserve to celebrate, to shine.

But when we talk about women’s advancement, I believe we need to look deeper. Because the women I want to celebrate today aren’t on magazine covers. They’re not stepping onto spaceships or into global headlines. They’re stepping into something far less glamorous, even invisible, but far more profound: their inner space.

I want to celebrate the mother who came to me feeling lost — overwhelmed by parenting, burnt out from her career, and weighed down by a difficult relationship. She wasn’t looking for a stage. She was looking for a lifeline. And through our work together, she not only found a new career she loves, she could also finally enjoy mothering her kids and tending to a more peaceful home.

I want to celebrate the woman who didn’t give up on herself after becoming a mom. Changing diapers and chaperoning her kids on school trips, she still kept her dreams alive. So, instead of abandoning the idea that it was possible to be a loving mom and a fulfilled professional, she worked with me to plant the seeds of her next chapter — one that fits who she is now.

I want to celebrate the woman who took a career detour, not because she failed, but because life happened. And when she was ready, she took time to reflect — on her strengths, her experiences, her unique life story — and began building a business that is deeply aligned with her Happiness Infinity Zone where her natural talents, life purpose, core value and true passion meet.

I want to celebrate the woman who realized the loads she had been carrying quietly by herself — and bravely sought out for help, so she could, once and for all, explore her Limitlessness of Worries Zone (LOW Zone) and conquer it. With that breakthrough, she was then able to face her life’s challenges with peace, to parent with peace, while gaining more clarity and confidence in her career.

These women, they don’t wear custom outfits and pose stylishly. But they carry their children in their arms, their dreams in their hearts, and their resilience in their bones.

These women, they don’t float in zero gravity. But they defy the weight of expectations, doubts, and invisible emotional labor every single day as a woman, a mom, and simply a being.

These women, they don’t walk onto red carpets. But they walk through long nights when their child is sick, through hard conversations when their relationship gets strained, and through the different seasons in their lives with grace.

These women, they’re not loudly breaking the glass ceiling. They’re quietly rebuilding the foundation, brick by brick — so more women can rise.

These women, they who aren’t brightly successful. They’re redefining success — not through visibility, but through alignment with what really matter to them.

So while the world celebrates the women flying in space, I want to applaud the women who are expanding inner space, so they can create more space of true happiness and meaning.

For themselves.

For their families.

For future mothers and daughters who will thank them for the possibilities they made real.

Because true women’s advancement doesn’t only happen in rockets or boardrooms. It happens quietly, steadily, in homes, in hearts, in choices made every day to live more fully, more authentically, more freely.

If you are quietly creating your own space, I see you. And I celebrate you.

If you’re struggling to find your space and ready to get support, let’s connect through my Happier YOU Letter.

Onwards to Happiness Infinity,

Amy Nguyen
